Do you know what Design Thinking is and how it can benefit you and your community? Design Thinking is based on the ability to notice human needs and develop new solutions using design practices.
The United Voices in Action program invites you to participate in a two-day workshop on Design Thinking-based writing projects in seven communities of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Kolomyia, Chervonograd, Lviv
At the workshop, participants will familiarize themselves with the Design Thinking methodology in order to better understand the process of creating innovative solutions, and learn how to avoid the “failure” of a seemingly well-planned project.
With the help of various practical and creative tasks, you will go through the full cycle from identifying needs to generating ideas and finding non-standard solutions. New knowledge can lead you to the development and implementation of socially useful and important projects in your communities. Carefully selected exercises will help to master the skills of empathy, analysis, structuring, and teamwork.
You will immediately be able to put the acquired knowledge and skills into practice, namely to develop a project that will focus on you, the residents of your community, and those who have found shelter and safety in your communities. IDPs age 30+ and residents of host communities are both invited to participate in the trainings.
The schedule for these Workshops will be two days for eight hours each day.

- June 13-15, 2023 in Zhytomyr
- June 17-18, 2023 in Kolomyia
- June 27-29, 2023 in Chervonograd
- June 29-30 2023 in Lviv

Created projects will be able to apply for a grant competition to receive funding from the “United Voices in Action” program.
