This study was conducted in collaboration with the sociological center “Socioinform”. The field stage lasted from September-October 2022 and covered 2,200 respondents including post-2014 IDPs, post-2022 IDPs, and members of 11 host communities (Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kropyvnytskyi, Lviv, Mukachevo, Ternopil, Uzhgorod, Uman, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi). Separate in-depth interviews were conducted among 22 representatives of local authorities and civil society organizations responsible for IDP issues in communities.
The presentation of the results covers the following issues:
- Relations between IDPs and members of host communities;
- Needs of IDPs aged 30+ and their underage children;
- Issues related to discrimination, access to legal assistance;
- The state of integration of IDPs from different waves in selected host communities;
- Advocacy and level of awareness on various human rights issues;
- Psychological health.
